Solenoid valves have an important operating parameter called Response Time – the time between starting of an electrical pulse and the physical opening or closing of the valve. In diesel systems, this parameter is also referred to as a Begining of the Injection Period or BIP.
The tester has a complete set of cables required for any application.
Detection of a short-circuit or an open coil with a high voltage insulation test are always performed before each BIP measurement.
Test parameters for Delphi F2e & F2P Euro 6 systems will help you with preliminary diagnostics in case the workshop does not have a suitable testbench. |
We have developed the BIP tester as a special universal tool to support the process of adjusting and monitoring the working clearances and spring stiffness in the solenoid valves of unit injectors and unit pumps. It provides electrical BIP measurements and allow you to adjust valve clearance and determine the degree of wear of parts without installing them on a testbench.
Touch screen allows the master to easily control the measurement process. It also has wall mounts for the OUS workbench so it can be placed in a more suitable location.
Engineering mode allows you to edit measurement parameters and save them in user testplans. |
